Universal Tour 2017

Hello, people of the internet! Contrary to appearances, no, I have not (ever) forgotten about this blog. I went to Universal Studios yesterday (and will be going again tomorrow)....so here's some pictures (click to enlarge):

And so it begins.

All aboard!

The Hogsmeade snow was actually appropriate this time (I last went in the summer).

~Hoggy Woggy Hogwarts~

There were these neat succulent balls hanging around the park...I want one!

A bird's-eye-view!

YOU LIKE ROBOTS? WE'VE GOT ROBOTS!

The Transformers 360 ride was actually very good/made use of the technology.

A timely arrival.
Man, Universal has some weird dogs roaming around (haha).

Entering Kong.

Exiting Kong.

Fake Mexico!

Fake Old West!

Panic! at the Subway

Something seems fishy in this town....
...very fishy.
(and also fire-y)

I wonder what this chap's up to.

Answer: MURDER.

Ahh, suburbia.

Apparently, the price of this plane was cheaper than its moving expenses.

Gotta go fast!

Where every single Universal water scene is filmed.

GUESS WHO I SAW!!!!!!!!!!

Waterworld! ...Which is apparently a movie that i've never heard of or seen.

Action packed.
Hahahahahaha!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Action...and fire.

Did I mention the fire?

So much fire. More like Fireworld, am I right?
GUESS WHO (AGAIN) REMIX

Feliz Navidad!

Universal....At Night.

.....Aaaaand, scene!

  1. I have not gone there in about five years since they removed my favorite rides (Terminator and Back To The Future). It's not like the place is even far from me. That Transformers ride beat me up and The Simpson's one made me feel like someone threw me in a washing machine. Still love the tram since the early 90's.

    1. Oh, man, I remember those! (I definitely didn't appreciate the BTTF ride enough before they closed it) I went on the Simpson's one, too...it's safe to say that "washing machine" is still a highly accurate description of the experience. Yeah, it's great to see the history of the studio and some behind-the-scenes areas!

  2. And I have never seen anyone come out the Bates Motel. I'm jealous you got a picture.
